If you’re a fan of the FX show The League, you probably saw a familiar face on the season premiere last night. If you’re unfamiliar with the show, like me, you’ll still really enjoy the clip below.

The League is, from what I can gather, a hilarious comedy revolving around the lives of four guys and their fantasy football league.

On Thursday night’s episode, Grimes made a cameo appearance as himself with Jacksonville running back Maurice Jones-Drew and Seattle wide receiver Sidney Rice. The three teamed up with one of the shows characters to do a version of the infamous Super Bowl Shuffle — this one called the “Shiva Bowl Shuffle.”

“(The show) talked to my agent and asked if I wanted to be on the show. I said, ‘Yeah, that’d be cool,’ ” Grimes said Friday. “It was cool because I got there and I actually had to go into a studio like I’m a music artist or something. I went in a booth to record and everything.”

So, in case you were wondering, yes, that actually is Grimes rapping in the video.

And this may not be the last time we see the Pro Bowl corner delve into acting.

“Hey, man, if The League wants me to come back on there, I’ll do it,” Grimes said. “Whatever happens, happens, but that was fun. I had a good time with it.”

Anyway, like I said, you don’t have to be caught up on the show to enjoy this.
