Amid the beginning of the free agent frenzy Tuesday night, perhaps the biggest news of the evening was glossed over and missed.

Wide receiver Julio Jones, partially known for the long, flowing dreadlocks out of the back of his helmet, has parted ways with the hairdo. While everyone was clamoring for free agency information, Jones was losing hair weight and catching it all on camera.

We had a similar experience in 2010 when defensive tackle Corey Peters suddenly showed up to Flowery Branch with his head shaved after sporting a long set of locks.
