Perhaps you were just as surprised as Roddy White on Wednesday night when the Falcons wide receiver was ranked as the No. 65 player on the NFL Network’s list of Top 100 Players of 2012.

Just a year ago, White was ranked in the top 25 on the list and fell 41 spots during Wednesday night’s Nos. 70-61 reveal show. Also revealed was that nine other wide receivers in the league would be ranked higher than White this year, despite White finishing second in the league in catches (100) in 2011 and eighth in yards (1,296).

“I don’t have any arguments. I’m just happy to be on this list, but not where I’m at,” White told NFL Network during the Top 100 reaction show. “I led the league in drops, which is unacceptable. I’ve got to go out there and I’ve got to play better. I’ve got to hold onto the ball, but other than that, I performed well. I felt like I did pretty good this season.

“I felt like I at least should have been in the top 5. Right now, I’m fighting to be in the top 10. I’m kind of confused right now.”

NFL Network enlisted current NFL players to come up with the rankings. To learn more about this year’s Top 100, click here.
