Falcons Release First Unofficial Depth Chart

With the first preseason game of the 2012 football year set to get underway Thursday at the Georgia Dome against the Baltimore Ravens, the Falcons released their first unofficial depth chart.

As camp battles continue to rage on, the new chart may give some insight into who is separating themselves from the pack.

Of note:

  • At left tackle, Sam Baker is listed as the starter and Garrett Reynolds is the first string right guard.
  • Mike Cox has a hold on the top spot at fullback with rookie Bradie Ewing backing him up.
  • With an injury to defensive tackle Corey Peters, Peria Jerry has taken the spot opposite Jonathan Babineaux.
  • At the returner positions, Jacquizz Rodgers is listed at the kick return spot and Harry Douglas at punt return.
