Wide receiver Roddy White is about as good a teammate as there is in the NFL. Sharing the spotlight with another highly talented wideout doesn’t faze the veteran, even if sharing the spotlight means sharing the ball.

After practice Tuesday, White glowed about fellow WR Julio Jones. Asked if he thinks fans should be excited about Jones’ prospects this year, White made no hesitation.

“Absolutely. They should get excited,” White said of his teammate. “He’s going to be important to us. We’re going to need him throughout the whole season, throughout all 16 games. He’s got to continue to be who he is: be big, explosive and make plays down the field.”
