Defensive end Lawrence Sidbury is trying to make himself stand out this preseason at a crowded position, yet his night started with a couple of miscuses.

Two defensive offsides calls on the young DE had his third preseason game of 2012 off to a rough start. But Sidbury soon made up for it near the end of the third quarter with a sack-strip that gave the Falcons the ball back.

Chasing down Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore from behind, Sidbury slapped the ball out of his hands and fellow young defensive end Cliff Matthews was there to pounce on it.

The Falcons failed to turn it into points with a missed field goal at the end of the drive.
