What common bond do Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez have in the stats column? Read below.

The Falcons play host to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, and they’ll begin preparations for the game Wednesday. Before we get to that, let’s take a look at the Raiders (and a couple of Falcons) by the numbers:

  • 34:44: Number of average minutes the Raiders defense has seen the field this year. With the Falcons averaging 29.6 points per game, Matt Ryan and the offense could do some damage if they’re allowed to keep the ball that long against Oakland.
  • 32nd: Where the Raiders rank in the league in stopping opposing offenses on third down. The Falcons are second in the league offensively in converting third downs.
  • 28%: Speaking of third downs, the Raiders have converted just 28 percent of their third down attempts on offense.
  • 26: The Raiders are one of the league’s least penalized teams this year, getting flagged just 26 times.
  • 7: Number of times Raiders QB Carson Palmer has been sacked this year, tied for sixth least sacked QB in the league.
  • 39: Receptions by tight end Tony Gonzalez — most in the league for tight ends AND wide receivers.
  • 2: Number of fumbles Oakland linebacker Philip Wheeler has caused this year.
  • 1T: Tied for tops in the league in interceptions is Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud.
  • 0: Interceptions the Raiders defense has made this year.
  • 1 and 2: Where Tony Gonzalez (29) and Roddy White (27) rank respectively in the league for passes caught for first down.
