The Falcons have hovered around the top of the league in the power rankings all year, but now, they own the top spot across the board.

Take a look at our sampling of power rankings below:

ESPN.com – The Falcons swapped spots with Houston, owning the top ranking on ESPN.com: The resourceful Falcons keep finding ways to win even without playing their best.

NFL.com – This set of rankings had the Falcons at No. 3 last week. Now, they’re No. 1: The Atlanta Falcons barely have pulled out wins in three consecutive weeks against teams with a combined record of 5-11, but because they have indeed closed those games out, they deserve not only the sterling “6-0″ in the standings column, but top billing in our Power Rankings. Despite not having his best day against the Oakland Raiders, Matt Ryan drove the club down the field when he needed to, connecting with Tony Gonzalez, who has been the most reliable tight end in football this season at the ripe age of 36. (Yes, more valuable than Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski.)

CBSSports.com – Pete Prisco has been a Falcons believe, but despite having them at the top, he provides words of warning: They are still unbeaten, but they are making it hard sometimes. That has to change, or it will cost them.

Bleacher Report – An addition to our roundup is Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, who has the Falcons at No. 1: The NFL’s only undefeated team may not always win pretty, but they find a way to get the job done. At some point, what the Atlanta Falcons are doing goes beyond luck and starts to look a lot like talent.
