Here’s looking at you, big man. Nice touchdown.

I’ve been on Mike Johnson all year about how, when he’s eligible, he’ll never see another pass come his way after Joe Hawley struggled earlier this season when Matt Ryan looked his way.

I’m find with admitting I was wrong after Sunday’s touchdown reception — yes, touchdown reception — by Mike Johnson in the first quarter against the Saints.

Ryan found Johnson for a 1-yard TD after Roddy White set the Falcons up with a 49-yard reception two plays earlier. No one was remotely guarding Johnson as he went out for the pass, even after the refs declared him eligible for the play.

That’s Johnson’s first NFL touchdown reception, his first NFL catch, his first NFL receiving yard and we can probably gamble the first ever for him in his whole life.
