The Falcons fell one spot in our sampling of Power Rankings around the Web, with the exception of FoxSports.com’s Brian Billick, who dropped the Falcons to No. 3 behind the Texans and Broncos.

NFL.com Power Rankings – “Atlanta Falcons fans have been complaining for weeks that they don’t get credit for being a dominant ballclub. If winning one-score games and losing to a 3-5 team is dominant … then Atlanta is truly dominant.” This Week: 2; Last Week: 1

NFL.com Week 10 Power PollThe Falcons didn’t receive any of the alloted 13 first-place votes, but finished No. 2. This Week: 2; Last Week: 1

ESPN.com Power Rankings – “The Falcons are returning home, where QB Matt Ryan has a 30-4 regular-season record as a starter.” This Week: 2; Last Week: 1

CBSSports.com Power Rankings – “Now that they’ve lost a game, they can quit worrying about the undefeated season. They need to concentrate on improving the defense.” This Week: 2; Last Week: 1

FoxSports.com Power Rankings – “The Falcons had been flirting with disaster and they finally came up short on a fourth-quarter comeback attempt. This loss may be good for them in the long run.” This Week: 3; Last Week: 1

Bleacher Report Power Rankings – “I was ready to move the Atlanta Falcons down considerably on Sunday night, and then the 49ers managed a tie and the Patriots nearly lost to the Bills. Thanks to the poor play of other top teams, Atlanta moves down just one spot. Now that they’ve played a “real team” and lost, critics will be quick to pounce on the Falcons as posers, but this is still an 8-1 team. And they fought and clawed until the end against a very good New Orleans Saints team. Had Julio Jones been healthy or had any number of plays gone a little differently, this game could have been a ninth win for Atlanta instead of a first loss. Fickle fans and writers will snub Atlanta this week, but when I look at the Falcons, I still see a team with the talent and coaching to win a Super Bowl.” This Week: 2; Last Week: 1

Pro Football Weekly: – “Rushed for 46 yards, allowed 148. That will end an undefeated season..” This Week: 2; Last Week: 1

Pro Football Talk: – “The Saints helped the Falcons get some national media attention.” This Week: 2; Last Week: 1
