Things were looking up for LB Sean Weatherspoon on Wednesday and then took a turn Thursday as he was listed on the Piedmont Healthcare Injury Report as “Did Not Participate” with the same ankle injury that kept him out the past three games plus an illness, which is new to the report.

Samuel also did not practice Thursday, the second day in a row for him. Still no word yet if he’ll be available for Sunday’s game against the Bucs.

In a bit of good news, WR Julio Jones went from not practicing Wednesday to limited participation Thursday.
