Some notes from the playing time percentages from Sunday:

  • RB Jacquizz Rodgers was on the field for 30 offensive snaps, which came out to 46 percent of the total offensive snaps taken. Turner took 20 snaps for 31 percent. Jason Snelling had 15 snaps for 23 percent and Antone Smith had one for two percent.
  • Cornerback Robert McClain played 67 of the 69 defensive snaps for 97 percent playing time. He also played 11 snaps on special teams. With Asante Samuel not getting any snaps despite being active, CB Chris Owens played 37 snaps for 54 percent.
  • In relief of William Moore, who was inactive Sunday, Chris Hope played all 69 defensive snaps and 13 special teams snaps.
  • DT Corey Peters played 60 snaps Sunday, which was 87 percent of the defensive snaps. DT Peria Jerry, in his return from a thigh injury that kept him out two games, played just 28 snaps for 41 percent.
  • Middle linebacker Akeem Dent, whose snaps fluctuate week-to-week depending on if the Falcons spend more time in base or nickel, played 32 snaps for 46 percent of the defense.
  • DT Jonathan Babineaux left the game in the first half due to a rib injury but ended up returning to the game in the third quarter. Usually the leader of the DTs in playing time percentage, Babs played just 28 snaps for 41 percent.
