For his performance against the New York Giants — and because of fan votes — Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan was named the NFL’s Air Player of the Week for Week 15.
Ryan completed 23-of-28 passes for 270 yards, three touchdowns and a 142.6 passer rating in the Falcons’ 34-0 win over the Giants.
Ryan was selected from among three finalists in the Air category, beating out quarterbacks Drew Brees and Tony Romo.
