Word came Sunday night that a brand new test would be introduced at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine, and Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff was one of a handful of NFL executives who provided input into the creation of the test.
Details on what the actual test is are unknown at this point, but according to a memo send around the league, it will focus on a player’s “non-physical capabilities, aptitudes and strengths.”
NFL prospects already go through the Wonderlic test during the Combine, which measures a player’s intelligence and ability to think quickly and make decisions. The new test will not replace the Wonderlic.
