The Falcons are set to take the field for their first of four preseason games as the team gears up for its season opener at New Orleans on Sept 8. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun, right?

I caught up with Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud earlier this week to find out some dirt on his teammates and asked him a simple question: “What are five things we need to know about your teammates?”

Here’s what he came up with, in his own words:

  • “Robert McClain is a chronic laugher. He will laugh at everything and anything. If it’s even remotely funny, he’ll laugh like it’s the funniest thing he ever heard.”
  • “I would say that Robert Alford has the most country accent I’ve ever heard in my life, bar none. And I’ve been in the south for six years now, so that’s saying something.”
  • “William Moore is a more talented rapper than he even puts on, than we even know. He’s been holding back. I’m waiting to see the real Mo. The Mo we see in freestyles in the meeting room, that’s who the rest of the world’s gotta meet.”
  • “Desmond Trufant talks the slowest for someone who doesn’t live in the south.”
  • “Shann Schillinger is the coolest dude you’ll ever meet in your life, and the nicest guy at the same time.”
